At Engines and Parts, we specialize in sourcing engines and automotive components through a verified inquiry-based system. Due to the nature of our products—used, rebuilt, and performance engines—our refund and return policies are strictly structured to ensure clarity, fairness, and transparency.

1. Inquiry-Based Transactions

Engines and Parts does not operate as a direct checkout e-commerce store. All listings function as inquiry submissions. A “Place Order” request does not constitute an automatic purchase. Every transaction is confirmed individually through communication with our team.

2. No Automatic Returns

Due to the technical and high-value nature of engines and transmissions:

  • All sales are considered final once confirmed and processed
  • Returns are not accepted for incorrect ordering by the customer
  • Buyers are responsible for verifying compatibility before purchase confirmation

We strongly advise customers to provide accurate vehicle details before final approval.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may only be considered under the following conditions:

  • The engine or part is not available after order confirmation
  • A verified shipping issue occurs before dispatch
  • The wrong item is supplied due to our internal error
  • The product arrives damaged in transit (must be reported immediately upon delivery)

4. Damage Claims

If an item arrives damaged:

  • The issue must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery
  • Clear photos or videos must be provided as evidence
  • The item must remain in original condition for review

Failure to report within the required timeframe may void eligibility.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a verified shipping failure.

6. Inspection Requirement

All engines and major components are inspected and verified before shipment. However, due to the nature of used and rebuilt engines, minor cosmetic wear may be present and is not considered a defect.

7. Cancellation Policy

Orders may only be canceled before processing or shipment confirmation. Once an engine has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

Unless explicitly stated in a specific agreement, engines are sold without manufacturer warranty. Any warranty offered will be clearly outlined during the inquiry confirmation process.
